Summer is undoubtedly the best part of the year in Grand Haven. For 20s, it’s also a chance to slow down from the weekly rhythm of small group and simply enjoy our community! This summer we’re adding some new events and jumping in on some of the already incredible things happening at our church as well… we’d love to see this crew fully integrated in the life of our church, as well as at our 20s specific things, so here are the opportunities we have this summer:
JUNE 30 | 6-8PM | SHIFT CLIMBING
Rock climbing is quickly becoming a favorite activity here in West Michigan, and Shift in Holland is one of the coolest places to do it! We’re renting out their space for a 20s climb night and covering the cost of shoes and climb time, so all you have to do is meet us there. Whether you’re brand new to climbing or an expert, we’d love for you to be there — for those who don’t want to climb, we’ll have some other board/card games available! JULY 24 | 6-8PM | HEART + SOUL NIGHT | GH CAMPUS
Heart & Soul nights are the regular rhythm of 20s gatherings, and we love doing one in the summer because of how many new people get to come! If you’re home from college for the summer, or have friends in town for the weekend, we’d encourage you to come be a part of this night. We’ll have worship and teaching at the GH campus, and then head over to Norms in Grand Haven for an afterparty; ice cream is on us!
JUNE-AUGUST | VOLLEYBALL | GH STATE PARK
This has become the most popular event of our 20s summer calendar — beach volleyball @GH State Park! This night is hosted by 20s and for 20s, and since we only have 4 this summer, we’d love to see you at all of them. June 4 & 18, July 9, and August 6, from 7-9pm, come meet us at the beach and play volleyball with us!
JULY-AUGUST | DISCIPLESHIP CLASS |7-9PM | GH CAMPUS
One of the best resources our church offers are discipleship classes, once-a-week gatherings where gifted Bible teachers in our church lean in on a specific topic through a class. This summer, Lyni Moeller is spending 5 weeks teaching through Psalms, and we would love to see our 20s be a part of this class! You can find all of the info, meeting times, and a link to register.
