DISCIPLESHIP

 GO DEEPER WITH JESUS

To be a disciple of someone means to follow someone. The Discipleship Ministry at Harvest exists to equip you to follow Jesus in a more intimate way. There are multiple ways to grow as a follower of Jesus and the Discipleship Ministry seeks to accomplish this through different classroom options, conferences, and midweek Bible studies. All of these offerings are in hopes to equip the follower of Jesus in greater biblical and theological literacy.

FAITH + FIRE: DISCIPLESHIP FROM ELIJAH AND ELISHA

“Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” — 2 Kings 6:17

This winter, we are echoing Elisha’s prayer — believing that if we bring the faith, God will bring the fire. Join us on Tuesday nights as we jump into the books of 1 + 2 Kings and discover what the ministries of Elijah + Elisha teach us about relying on God for every need. This class will be taught by Katherine Averill.

Tuesday Evenings | January 6-March 3 | 7:00-8:30PM | GH Campus | Cost $10

GOSPEL CENTERED PARENTING

Parenting is one of the highest—and hardest—callings God gives us. Thankfully, He never asks us to do it in our own strength. As our Heavenly Father, God both shows us how to care for our kids and gives us the strength to do so. His Word and His Spirit equip us to lead, discipline, and delight in our children while pointing them to Christ.

Whether you’re preparing to be parents, raising teenagers, or at any stage in between—we’d love to have you join this eight-week class as we learn to build Christ-centered homes. This class will be taught by Harvest’s three founding pastors and their wives, with special guest speakers featured throughout the course.

Thursday Evenings Starting January 8 | 7:00pm | GH Campus | Cost $30 per Couple
