DISCIPLESHIP
GO DEEPER WITH JESUS
To be a disciple of someone means to follow someone. The Discipleship Ministry at Harvest exists to equip you to follow Jesus in a more intimate way. There are multiple ways to grow as a follower of Jesus and the Discipleship Ministry seeks to accomplish this through different classroom options, conferences, and midweek Bible studies. All of these offerings are in hopes to equip the follower of Jesus in greater biblical and theological literacy.
DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES
WHAT JESUS WANTS
Disciples want what Jesus wants and get after what Jesus cares about.
In this eight-week class, we’ll explore Revelation 1-3 and receive clear, direct instruction from Jesus on what He wants for His Church. Through His encouragement, correction, and warnings, we’ll learn what Jesus desires for His disciples and what faithful discipleship looks like as we wait for His return.
Come ready to be challenged, to be encouraged, and to walk away with a clearer understanding of who Jesus is, what He wants, and how He is calling us to live.
This class will be taught by Katherine Averill.
Tuesday Evenings Starting September 29 | 7:00pm | GH Campus | Cost $10
NEW BELIEVERS
You’ve heard the gospel changes everything — but what does that mean?
In this seven-week class, we’ll walk through some of the foundational truths every believer needs to know. We’ll talk about the gospel, the authority of Scripture, identity in Christ, and other core beliefs, while also exploring practical next steps like baptism, life in the church, and spiritual disciplines.
Whether you’re new to following Jesus, want to strengthen your foundation, or regularly disciple others, this class will give you a clearer understanding of what Christians believe and how those truths shape the way we live.
This class is a great fit for:
• Those who have recently put their faith in Jesus
• Long-time believers who want a refresher on the foundations of their faith
• Leaders, teachers, and mentors who want to grow in communicating these truths to others
This class will be taught by a team of pastors and teachers.
Thursday Evenings Starting October 1 | 7:00pm | GH Campus | Cost $15
