DECEMBER 3: HOPE WHILE WAITING

Read: Habakkuk 3:17–19
Even when everything seems to be falling apart, we can still choose joy. Hope isn’t pretending things are easy — it’s believing God is still good when my circumstances aren’t good.

Consider

  1. What does Habakkuk say he’ll do even when there’s no fruit or harvest?

  2. Is there anything that’s hard or you’re waiting for right now?

  3. What does it look like to “rejoice in the Lord” when life is hard or we’re waiting?

Pray

Lord, teach us to hope even when we’re waiting or can’t see the outcome. Give us hope and joy that doesn’t depend on what we have or what life looks like now, but on who You are. In Jesus’ name, amen.
