DECEMBER 25: JOY FOREVERMORE

Read: Psalm 16:5-11
David reminds us that joy is found in treasuring God and dwelling in His presence. He is our portion, our refuge, and our path of life. Because of Jesus, we can rest secure — our hearts are glad, our future is certain, and our joy will never end.

Consider

1. How has God provided for you and blessed you that you can rejoice in today?

2. What is a step of obedience in the path of life He’s made known to you recently?

3. Gifts and holidays are wonderful, but how can we take some time to rejoice in God, the giver of all good gifts?

Pray
God of eternal joy, we rejoice in this life and countless blessings you have given us. Thank You most for sending Jesus to make known to us the path of life. May we find joy in your presence every day, everywhere. In Jesus’ name.
